What's new in 2007?

March 2007
The new Beverly Aquatic Center is completed and open. Our beautiful new pool enclosure will feature glass sliders and translucent fabric which will allow great natural light while reducing energy needs. The increased 5600 square foot interior space will make this not only a great swimming area but the perfect location to host your private party. For sunbather's a new 1600 square foot sun deck will be located just outside the sliders before summer 2007!

What was new in 2006?

Expresso fitness bikes come to BAC bringing cardio exercise to a new level. With the ability to race against your personal best, the person next to you or a friend across the country, these bikes with stunning graphics are motivating and entertaining. Beverly Athletic Club and its sister Cambridge Racquet & Fitness Club become the first clubs on the East Coast to offer these new Spark 2 bikes!

March 2006
Four New Treadclimbers installed making BAC the first club in Massachusetts to offer this innovative cardio machine where members burn twice the calories compared to treadmill exercising with surprisingly low impact and perceived exertion.

June 2006
BAC installs 2 Koko Smartainers becoming the first club ever to offer these "cutting edge" strength training machines with various computerized programs designed specifically for each user to get incredible results.

What was new in 2005?

McGovern Physical Therapy Associates opened up providing members in the community with the areas best physical therapy services. BAC is proud to have the national award winning McGovern Physical Therapy Associates as part of the facility.

June 2005
New LifeFitness Tradmills and LifeFitness Total Body Eliptical Trainers. New racquetball court floor.

September 2005
Sanctuary Pilates Studio opened by Kiki Hanson.

Renovation of the Group Exercise Studio new floor windows and look. Opening of the New Solei Salon and Day Spa featuring Hair Design, manicures, massage and tanning.

Installed New Personal TV's on cardio. Redesigned Lobby area of Club.

Club Com Audio/Video Entertainment added.

August 2004
Parking Lot Resurfaced.

All Lighting Upgraded. New Basketball Court Installed. New Court Floors for Racquetball. 4 New Precor Treadmills and Ellipticals.
